About PHLUG
The Parliament Hill Lido User Group was initially created to represent our swimming community in all conversations with City of London (similar to the various Pond Associations) and to have a group ready to mobilise in case of any serious threat of our beloved Lido being sold or franchised to a private firm. Fortunately no such threat currently exists and so we focus on smaller, community based action - Lido merch sales, swim events, book swap, seasonal parties - we also use social media and this news letter as a means of communicating important info to you. We advocate on behalf of all swimmers with the Hampstead Heath management team, so please do get in touch if you have any comments, ideas or suggestions to pass on to the lifeguard and steward team.
